Founder

Karen "ZuZu" Armes

Karen "ZuZu" Armes transitioned from battling epilepsy with medications to embracing holistic health, inspiring her to create Holistic Health Educators. This platform educates on natural healing and the science of the body. An author and holistic healthcare practitioner, Karen has developed certifications and opened Lilly Fields, a retreat center in Georgia. Her journey and work, including her product line Zuzu’s Energy, exemplify her commitment to promoting health and well-being naturally.

Amy Sprouse

Amy, daughter of Karen Armes and raised in the holistic healthcare environment, has deepened her understanding of health through her academic pursuits in public health and epidemiology at Brigham Young University and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her education has reshaped her perspective on healthcare reform, recognizing the significant roles of environment, accessibility, and social factors in health decisions. As an educator at Holistic Health Educators (HHE), she teaches a range of subjects from anatomy to holistic psychology, while also being a Crossfit-certified holistic health coach. Amy's passion extends beyond her professional life; she is an avid traveler, having explored 15 countries, is fluent in Mandarin, aspires to learn Spanish, and enjoys the beaches of Hawaii.

Maureen Craig

Maureen is an accomplished senior executive with extensive experience in the consumer-packaged goods, healthcare, pharmaceutical, luxury/beauty and telecommunications industries. In her distinguished and high-achieving career as a technology and business executive she has held senior positions in both established and start up organizations. After serving on the leadership team for a new start up business within the world’s largest healthcare company focused on the preventable healthcare crisis, she continues her passion to help people around the world improve their health through education. Her natural relationship management skills in working with all levels of executives and teams has earned her the trust of those she works with and has awarded her a broad global network that has proven instrumental in successful product and services commercialization around the world.

Tammy McArthur

Tammy McArthur, PPC, CRC, MRC, HHC, RMT, RYT is an HHE graduate and dual cert student. She combines her knowledge and life experiences in multiple modalities to provide students and staff with empowerment and compassion. Her passion is to elevate those around her and remove barriers to success. Having raised 4 children of her own and many more, she finds joy in connecting with and helping teens learn to thrive and feel seen.

Rachel Gubler

Rachel Gubler is a TNC graduate and a Holistic Iridologist. She loves connecting the students to one another, and learning what each of you are passionate about. She is passionate about the menstrual cycle and supporting mothers in their health journey. She is a homeschooling mom of 2 and loves to explore outside and dance with her family! You'll interact with Rachel on the Tuesday night calls

Sarah Schindler

Sarah Schindler is a HHE graduate and Dual Cert student. She also loves working with new students to learn about their lives, help them reach graduation goals, as well as overcome obstacles that may come up along the way. She is a homeschooling mama of 2 and loves to travel with her family!

Tabitha Lamberth

Tabitha manages everything from social media to email campaigns, making sure HHE shines across all platforms. She turns ideas into engaging content, using data to fine-tune strategies, helping HHE connect and grow. She is an avid thrifter and loves to repurpose preloved items and give them new life!

Ann Boyd

Ann Boyd, a graduate of HHE's Holistic Health Coaching (HHC) program and a current student at TNC (Therapeutic Nutritional Counselor), embodies a passion for fostering personal growth and societal change through knowledge, love, and healing. Her dedication to empowering others is evident in her commitment to academic advising, where she integrates extensive project management and IT expertise with a rich background in the military, certifications across various modalities, and ministry experience. Ann's multifaceted skills contribute significantly to her role within the HHE team, where she strives to support and guide students in achieving their educational and personal goals.

Denise Humphrey

Denise Humphrey is a HHE graduate and a TNC student. She loves getting to know the students and supporting them on their journeys. She is passionate about clean foods and teaching others how to avoid GMO's and "frankenfoods". She loves working with Karen on research for the Human Body Master Guide and looks forward to a long career helping people in health education. Her happy place is grounding at the beach and she also loves to garden with her 8-year old grandson.

Amy Free

Amy is a Dual Cert student, based in the UK. She loves connecting with the students, enrolling them into the school and supporting them throughout their journey. Amy is particularly passionate about mind, body & soul health following grief & trauma.

Karen Walsh

Karen Walsh is an HHC graduate and continuing student. She is an avid reader and learner. She has recently become passionate about holistic health. After changing her own life through healing using holistic modalities, she hopes to help family members, friends, and community members change their lives as well. Karen is a wife and a mom to four sons and one daughter. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, reading, playing games, and serving others.

HTMA Technician

Carrie Weight

Carrie Weight is a HHE graduate and Dual Cert student. She has worked in the healthcare industry in various aspects and is passionate about getting to the root cause of things. She loves using HTMA (Hair, Tissue, Mineral Analysis) to do just that. She enjoys working with our students to help them in their health & wellness journey. Loves spending time with family, making new friends-for-life, and exploring the great outdoors.
